I Eat Your Skin – 1964 – United States
A playboy novelist named Tom travels to a Caribbean island to write a new novel about voodoo. With him is Duncan, his money-obsessed editor, and Duncan’s swinging wife Coral. On the island, a scientist is researching a cure for cancer. He experiments on the island’s voodoo-practicing natives, transforming them into crusty-faced, bug-eyed zombies. The zombies kidnap the scientist’s daughter, and the novelist Tom brawls through them to rescue her. When the zombies overrun the island, Tom and his group escape in a boat. The scientist somehow overloads his laboratory equipment and makes the entire island explode. All the islanders and the zombies presumably die.
