College students party in an abandoned house beside a cemetery on Halloween. They find a book of Satanic rituals and decide to try one out. This involves stealing a corpse from a morgue, which happens to be the corpse of a serial killer. After the ritual, the killer comes to life and murders all the students by tearing their guts out with his deformed claw-like hands. Meanwhile, some trick-or-treaters get trapped in the cemetery. The killer raises a legion of (really unthreatening) zombies to chase them around ineffectually. A crazy paranormal investigator comes to the rescue, and the Satanic book is burnt up in a fire.

Terror Toons – 2001 – United States

While her parents are away on vacation, a teenage girl watches a Terror Toons DVD she received mysteriously in the mail. The DVD (directed by “The Devil”) depicts the violent cartoon escapades of Dr. Carnage (a goblin-like surgeon) and Max Assassin (his grinning purple gorilla). The girl is hypnotized by the cartoon’s psychedelic imagery, and Dr. Carnage and Max Assassin emerge from the television and kill her. In the same house, the girl’s teenage sister and her friends are having a party. They drink wine coolers and play “Strip Ouija” (which is exactly what you think it is). Dr. Carnage and Max Assassin run amok, killing the teens with enormous cartoonish tools and weapons (i.e. a giant pizza cutter). Eventually, one girl is inexplicably transported to Hell. She confronts Satan and becomes a superhero through the limitless power of imagination. She defeats Dr. Carnage and Max Assassin and then has a nervous breakdown because all of her friends are dead.
