Hardcore Henry – 2015 – Russia

People have been making movies for 120 years, and as far as I can tell, there are only two of them shot entirely in first-person. The Lady in the Lake (1947) and this one, Hardcore Henry. Most reviews of Hardcore Henry are critical. That’s fair. There are a lot of reasons not to like this movie. You have to respect it though. It’s creators set out to make a totally over-the-top action movie entirely from a first-person perspective, and in that mission, they definitely succeeded.
